Dualities in Nature: An Illustrated I Ching

This project presents a series of symbolic landscape illustrations inspired by the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching. Each illustration transforms philosophical concepts into natural imagery, emphasizing the dynamic interplay of opposing forces. Through the use of traditional Chinese rock pigment techniques and the inherent unpredictability of natural mineral materials, the project explores the mysteries of this ancient wisdom and its resonance with the natural world.
